This
replica of the Alliance Endeavour biplane is a work-in-progress that has been a
labour of love for David for a long time. In the years following World War I,
David’s father, Edward, worked in London for the Alliance Aeroplane Company,
which was commissioned to build a biplane that became known as the Alliance
Endeavour. The Endeavour was one of six entries in an air race from Great
Britain to Australia in 1919. David
has sourced materials from far and wide to ensure that his replica plane is
built to the exact specifications of the Endeavour.
